Bespoke Training
Bespoke Cinematic Training for Creative Studios
Expert film training tailored to your project, your team, and your workflow.
Strong storytelling and cinematic clarity can elevate a game from good to unforgettable. But not every team member comes from a film background—and that's where I come in.
I offer bespoke training sessions for creative studios looking to strengthen their cinematic storytelling. Whether you’re creating cutscenes, trailers, or in-game sequences, I can help your team master the core principles of visual storytelling, shot composition, pacing, emotional impact, and more—always grounded in your project’s goals.
With four degrees in screen media (including a PhD) and nearly a decade of teaching and curriculum design experience, I specialise in making cinematic concepts clear, relevant, and immediately applicable. I’ve taught everyone from first-year undergraduates to PhD candidates—and I understand how to communicate complex ideas to people with varying levels of experience.
Training can include:
Fundamentals of visual storytelling for games
Scene structure, editing, and emotional beats
Shot composition, blocking, and camera movement
How to work with cinematic language across departments
Project-specific feedback and workflow guidance
Flexible format: workshops, team sessions, or one-to-ones
Delivered in person (UK) or remotely (worldwide)
In English or French
Each session is designed around your team’s needs and your current production stage.
